Hi and welcome to the CAN coaches website! I'm Lindsay, a Coach-in-training. I'm also a Registered Social Worker with a background in Psychology.
As a coach, I specialize in helping adults in their twenties and thirties create life goals and intentions that make them excited. I help them develop realistic action plans to achieve their goals and help them employ strategies to follow through. I also teach my clients how to manage their stress, maintain mental and physical health and how to use creative problem solving to rock the heck out of their lives.
My philosophy for coaching is simple: 1. Before you do anything - stop and ask yourself why you're doing it. What are you are trying to accomplish? Having intention doesn't mean that things will always go according to plan but it creates the opportunity to make choices that will move you closer to where you want to be in life. 2. Always start from a place of strength. Recognize what you're good at and use that strength to build a life that makes you excited.
People work with life coaches for many different reasons. Some people approach coaches with specific ideas and goals in mind, others are looking to explore and create new ones. Goals can be as complex as launching a new business or as simple as finding more time to do the things you love. Working with a Life Coach requires no prerequisites. You simply come as you are and we create a plan to move forward from there. I won’t promise that the road will always be easy, but I can promise to help you develop and create ways to make your travels more meaningful.
