WORKSHOP: HOW DOES YOGA BENEFIT YOUR BRAIN?

How does yoga improve health? Does your brain change when you practice yoga?
If you are interested in yoga and are intrigued or intimidated by concepts such as neuroplasticity, parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system and the “fight or flight stress response” this interactive workshop is for you.
How does breathing influence your body and your mind from an experiential (practicing pranayama) and a biological perspective? We will have time to reflect and share aspects of our yoga practice such as: Why do we practice? How does it make us feel? and what can we learn from our practice that can be useful for our daily life?
Everybody is welcome. No previous yoga practice (or mat) required!
